6. AI Features and Business Insights
Kounta may include AI-powered features such as AI voice input, AI chat, AI insights, and AI consultation features depending on your subscription plan.
These features may use your submitted prompts, business records, and usage context to provide summaries, answers, and suggestions.
AI outputs are for business support only and should not be treated as professional accounting, legal, tax, or financial advice. You should review important business decisions independently or with a qualified professional.
7. Offline Mode and Local Storage
Kounta may allow supported actions to work offline. When you use offline mode, some sales, expense, inventory, or activity records may be temporarily stored on your device until they sync to the cloud.
You are responsible for keeping your device safe, locked, and protected.
If you clear your browser storage, change device, uninstall the app, or use private browsing, unsynced data may be lost.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to:

- Support offline functionality

- Improve product performance

When you make a payment, the payment provider may collect payment details directly and process them under its own privacy policy and security standards.
Kounta may receive payment confirmation details such as transaction reference, amount, payment status, selected plan, billing cycle, and customer identifier.
Kounta does not intentionally store your full card number, CVV, or complete payment card details.

To operate Kounta, we may use trusted third-party service providers for hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, payments, analytics, monitoring, customer support, and security.

Kounta is not responsible for losses caused by staff misuse, shared passwords, weak passwords, or failure to manage access permissions.

We retain personal data and business records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, meet legal, tax, accounting, security, dispute resolution, and audit requirements, or as otherwise allowed by law.
If you delete your account, some data may be deleted or anonymised, while certain records may be retained where required for legal, billing, fraud prevention, or security purposes.

Kounta is designed for business owners and authorised business staff. It is not intended for children.
